About us
Who are FCV?
We are a team, based in Boden, which has many years of experience in guidance, coaching, education and labor market initiatives with a special focus on the cultural, creative and digital industries.
At the heart of our work is the target group of young adults who, for various reasons, have ended up in passivity and perhaps involuntary exclusion. Due to limited work experience, internships or dropping out of high school, one has ended up in passivity and “sitting at home”, at the same time as the labor market feels increasingly remote. It does not have to look that way at all, but it is a reality for many young people.
Our mission is to find new, creative ways to recruit that get people into employment. We see ourselves as a creative pilot in the work to help young people find driving forces, goals, meaning and new contexts.

Awards
We received the Honorary Award
“Creating basic conditions for renewal and growth is often about hard and stubborn work. And always about a fiery soul. A man who is passionate about commitment and will. What we see is now being realized at Boden Business Park with exciting new educations and ground-breaking meeting places can largely be attributed to a real “changemaker”. That is why this year Lars Lundqvist will be awarded NMW’s honorary prize. ” Norrbotten’s media week 2020
Our story
After a long career in study-motivating initiatives, study and career guidance and a career at the Swedish Public Employment Service with special responsibility for young people who were far from the labour market, thoughts and ideas began to sprout. We wanted to find new ways that spoke to the target group in a better way. Thoughts and ideas about creating new, innovative methods were brought to life.
During a test course that we worked on in 2014 at Sunderby Folk High School, we found a successful method in using games as a motivator to help young adults get back to school. We felt that we found good methods that attracted young people, but also that there was so much more to do. The journey continued and we also launched higher game educations at Boden Business Park together with Changemaker Educations / Futuregames. More ideas were born that we tried to put wings on – and in that way FCV Sweden was born.

"The single biggest challenge for the business community is to find the right skills at the same time as more and more jobseekers end up further and further away from the labor market - creative solutions are needed to the skills supply issue."

Cooperation with us?
We are facing structural societal transformations, new ways of working and new roles are emerging. We need to be open to this change, but it also presents us with several challenges, not least to be able to secure the supply of skills. We would be very happy if you would like to discuss ideas, questions or challenges with us. Who knows, maybe it will lead to an exciting development collaboration?
