This year we turn five years old! We are celebrating this by launching a new website, participating in Boden Game Changer and being part of the “KING Scholarship”, which is a groundbreaking initiative for inclusion and equality in the gaming industry. Hectic is just the first name!
We couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve achieved in the five years we’ve been in business. Our activities generate tangible results for young people who are neither working nor studying. What we do through our programs, methods and games really works, and together with our participants we create real change. For example, our unique Gamecamp concept has produced outstanding results, with an incredible 95% of participants on average going directly from not working or studying to either starting to study or getting a job after the program.
Here’s some of what we have in the pipeline:
- KING Scholarship, a collaboration with KING and the Computer Games Industry starting April 25. The program is for women and non-binary people who want to start a career in game development.
- We are nearing the launch of our first game Hot Skills® – a strategic and social game that not only entertains but also provides job seekers with valuable advice and tools to overcome obstacles on the way to getting a real job.
- In conjunction with our participation at Boden Game Changer, we are releasing this brand new website for FCV Studios. The site is developed by Kicki and Danne at Framtidsbyrån in Piteå, and we are super happy with the result! Here you can
